The San Andreas Gazette is an independent local newspaper that publishes weekly. They currently have no permanent base after being evicted from their office in Grapeseed, and have taken up temporary residence in the ground floor of the Weazel News Building. The newspaper is distributed for free from news stands, and digitally online.

Creation and Ethos[]
The San Andreas Gazette was founded by Reggie Williams after The Great Tsunami on 20th May. The paper was designed as a way to investigate major issues, inform the wider public of those issues, and hold those in power to account.
The newspaper is fully advertiser funded, as the founder and Editor in Chief believes in "Keeping the free press free!" and that "knowledge should never be held to ransom."
Content[]
The Gazette is currently a 2 page spread featuring 3 articles covering the week's news. Occassionally also containing a feature column; such as 'Ask Nana', an Agony Aunt style piece, where anonymous letters are responded to with life advice and pearls of wisdom.
The newspaper skews towards stories that affect a wider audience, as "if [they] were to give space to every stabbing, shooting and bombing; [they'd] need to publish a hardback edition."
